I was born in Plymouth in 1944 and my dad worked for Plymouth City Transport so I have always been interested in Public transport. I now live in Hitchin where the bus scene is pretty poor.
I try to keep upto date records of all West Country operators.
I work as a  volunteer on The preserved Nene Valley Railway at Peterborough and am in a group trying to purchase a preserved bus to stop it going to the breakers yard

Hi Eddie, welcome to the forum.  Are you "hitchinbus" over on the Anglia Bus Forum?  It's not that busy right now but the membership is slowly growing most of the discussion seems to be focused on Stagecoach South West but now you are here hopefully there will be more about Plymouth Citybus.  The company has now unfortunately been sold to Go-Ahead group but at least it didn't go to First.

I was dissapointed to see that Plymouth Citybus has been sold but at least it has gone to Go-ahead and not First.
